Keynote speakers announced for Business North West exhibition

Keynote speakers for Business North West, the region’s biggest business-to-business event, have been announced. The speeches will take place in the 400 capacity Business Link Innovation Lounge at the event which takes place 28th – 29th October at the Manchester Central arena.
·Michelle Dewberry, founder of Chiconomise makes a reappearance following a very successful presentation at the event in 2007. Michelle first came to prominence on TV’s ‘The Apprentice’.
·Mark Howe, Country Director at Google, joined the company in 2006 and will be speaking to the audience about the importance of online marketing.
·Richard Hayes, Marketing Director at Warburtons will be delivering a presentation entitled ‘Making Bread’, a case study in growing faster than the market and the competition.
·Tom Vosa, Chief Economist at Yorkshire Bank will be looking at how the economic crisis has affected the region and will be talking about how businesses can prepare for the upturn.
·Carl Hopkins from Channel 4’s ‘Secret Millionaire will describe how his latest venture ‘Parties Around the World’ was built up from humble beginnings.
·Imram Hakim, appeared on TV’s ‘Dragon’s Den’ in 2007 with his iTeddy proposition and will talk about his journey from entrepreneurial idea to successful business.
·Brad Burton, founder of 4networking will deliver a presentation entitled ‘From Box Room to Boardroom’ and explain how he built up the biggest business breakfast network in the world.
Nationwide Media Group, the organiser of Business North West are in talks with a headline speaker and will make an announcement shortly when the speaker is confirmed.
Talking about the keynote speakers, Scott Hider, Managing Director at Nationwide Media Group said; “In previous years our programme of keynote speakers have proved incredibly popular. Visitors and exhibitors have been presented with inspirational and educational speeches which have added real value to the event.
“Our speakers this year are no less impressive and we are sure that businesses in the region will gain valuable knowledge from their presentations.
“We are in talks with a major name as headline speaker. Last year we had Max Clifford and we are looking to deliver a speaker of equal gravitas for 2009.”
