What we like about the event is that it's so much more than just an exhibition. As well as the stands, there are seminars, workshops and presentations, so there's a good chance you'll pick up some great advice as well as new customers!

Supporting last year's event helped to boost our profile and put us in front of thousands of businesses currently operating in the region. It meant we were able to promote our services and benefits to hundreds of companies previously untouched by the Chamber.

Greater Manchester Chamber is the UK's largest Chamber, working every day with businesses of all sizes and sectors, and we look forward to seeing you at this year's event.

Manchester City Council

Sir Richard Leese
Leader of Manchester City Council

"I am delighted to welcome Business North West to Manchester, giving us the opportunity to showcase our thriving city to over 4,000 businesses from all over the UK and Europe to Manchester Central, in the country's leading conference quarter

Our partnership with Business North West continues to generate innovation and challenging debate surrounding key topics affecting today's businesses. Delegates benefit from best practice workshops and shared lessons learnt from the country's leading business experts and entrepreneurs.

Business North West at Manchester Central is leading by example in making this year's event carbon neutral.

As a leading local authority, it is Manchester City Council's goal to help local businesses to thrive and prosper, and especially in these times of economic caution it is vital that they harness opportunities to reduce waste, increase margins and promote their green credentials by adopting modern environmental practices.

Indeed, a recent Delloitte report indicates that the city region can benefit from £21bn growth by the early adoption of sustainable business practice. Businesses can find out how to do this by visiting the council's Environmental Business Pledge stand at the exhibition which gives details of a free advice service for Manchester businesses to make significant environmental and cost savings.

Manchester has been at the forefront of economic development at many stages in history, and it refuses to accept obstacles to prosperity, instead we apply creative ideas to innovate and regenerate through investing in high quality infrastructure, business support strategies and our local communities.

We recognise the importance of Manchester's thriving business community at the heart of the city region and therefore the City Council strongly supports the Business North West event and its role in enhancing Manchester's competitive edge as a world class city."
