Biography

As the UK’s No1 Small Business Growth Specialist, Ben is rapidly gaining a reputation for delivering quite incredible results.

After returning to the UK and experiencing his own heart breaking business defeat in the nineties Ben created a company dedicated to growing businesses and helping others succeed. After nearly 10 years as an ex-pat enjoying an extremely successful life selling holiday real estate Ben returned to England and began his own small business. It was then that he realised there was much to learn…and not much in the way of expertise available for help.

During his time abroad Ben had been a key leader in a major holiday property sales operation and had honed sales skills that are simply not taught in many environments back home…learning for example that without any ‘props’ such as a job title or style of dress you have to instantly be adaptable to any and all characters in order to succeed in selling. He learned too how an edge in marketing is absolutely paramount if you want to stand out from the competition as he owned and ran a nightclub whilst in Tenerife…alongside 20 plus other bars all apparently offering the same thing!

It is as a direct result of these types of experiences that Ben proves to be so remarkable and so unique when perhaps compared to others offering ‘advice’. His life course has caused him to endure first hand many character forming experiences that together with a natural creative ability and boundless energy make him ‘real’ and genuinely likeable.

Ben also raised his daughter as a single parent from the age of 20 months and knows well the struggle to balance work and family life whilst also appreciating the real value and meaning of life. Ben is, first and foremost a family man, with old fashioned values …where truth and integrity are non negotiable and where business relationships become friendships that last. More recently his success has seen several of his clients add in excess of £1 million to their turnover within a year and many current clients set to double their turnover and their profits within a 12month period.

His programme ‘The Business Booster’ is gaining national recognition and his company is often approached by The Chambers of Commerce and the Business Link to assist with their performance objectives. He is approved as a member of The National Consultants Register and has been asked to speak at ALL business exhibitions in the UK – including: conventions for The Institute of Sales and Marketing Management (ISMM), The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) (Leics and Northants), The Business Start Up Exhibition, The Ideal Business Show, B2B, and New Start Northern Scotland and New Start Ireland along with many local business leader groups.

Ben has also written a definitive book on small business growth entitled ‘How to Grow Your Business and enjoy More Money, Less Stress!’ and has recently been approached to author ‘Selling for Dummies’ for the UK due for release August 07.
