2007 Post Show Report

Another resounding success: 175 exhibiting companies; over 4000 visitors

The event had a fantastic foundation of support from Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce; Manchester Solutions; Business Link; Institute of Directors; Manchester City Council and Manchester Evening News.

Business North West Exhibition incorporating the BEX Conference 2007 was confirmed as the ‘region’s premier business to business event’. Over 4000 business owners, directors and decision makers attended across the two days and participated in a frenzy of business activity.

There were 175 companies exhibiting from an array of regional and national companies and organisations, over 30 seminars and headline speeches from the likes of Dan Germain from Innocent Drinks; Chris Moss of 118 118; Michelle Dewberry winner of Year 2 The Apprentice and former Dragon’s Den star Doug Richard to name a few.

Don’t just take our word for it - What our exhibitors thought

Congratulations on producing the most successful business event we've attended this year! We had extremely high expectations going into this event. They were exceeded in every way.
Ian Creek, NewZapp

We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending attending this event as a way of obtaining lots more new business and would encourage any doubters out there to sign up immediately.
Alison Nicholas, The Business Booster

For us the exhibition was a huge success. We exceeded our expectations in terms of the number of people who visited our stand and we gained many solid leads which we are now following up. The number and mix of visitors was very important to us. The theme of Business North West this year was innovation, and the guest speakers were a great fit. The visitors who came to see the seminars took time to see what else the show had to offer – we met a lot of people interested in our services. As a company we also had a lot of fun, and I’m already looking forward to next year.
Isla Owen, Centre for Assessment

We exhibited at Business North West to get in front of our potential customers, to be visible and make contact with as many people as possible. We wanted to tell them what we do, show ourselves as a friendly face and an organisation that can support businesses effectively in the North West. Very often things like newspaper and outdoor advertising raise the profile of the brand but they don’t tell people who we are and what we do, whereas the exhibition has allowed us to do that.
Suzanne Fenerty, Business Link

The quality of the visitors was really good, we got some really good inquiries and it was useful to observe the other stands and be able to cross reference to see how they were exhibiting. Our stand really stood out so we attracted a lot of attention. The turn out was great, we met some really good potential customers and took some good enquiries. Business North West is the place to be because it’s the prime location in Manchester, everyone knows the venue. It was fantastic to walk around and see all the different businesses there. We’ll be coming back next year as it’s definitely something businesses should be involved in.
Phil Lanfone, Williams BMW
